Things to watch for in Kansas City Preseason Opener

 

Often times it is easy for the common NFL fan to look over the preseason games. After all, once the starters leave the field, most fans couldn't name a single player on the field. The Sport's Networks' Scott Gabarini is going to help us with that today in his NFL Preseason Preview article about the Chiefs and Cardinals' matchup. City begins its preseason slate with some sorting out to do at quarterback as well, though its competition is at the No. 2 job behind established starter Matt Cassel. The combatants for the spot are veteran Brady Quinn, signed by the Chiefs in March, and 2011 fifth-round pick Ricky Stanzi, with neither gaining a distinct advantage on the other during offseason workouts.
